Get a game added

ARKANA grows game by game. If a game you love isn't here yet, you can ask us to add it — and the strongest applications come from people willing to help build it out.

What makes a good candidate

  • An active community that actually wants a reliable reference.
  • Enough structured content to document — items, characters, quests, recipes, stats, drops, and so on.
  • Information that can be documented by fans (we don't host copyrighted game files, art dumps, or pirated assets).
  • Ideally, at least one person — maybe you — willing to seed the first assets and keep them accurate.

How to apply

There's no form yet — a short email does the job. Tell us about the game and, importantly, whether you want to help maintain it.

  1. 1
Email contact@yedi.net with the subject “Game request: <game name>”.
  2. 2
Include the game name, platforms, and any official or community/wiki links we can use to set it up.
  3. 3
Tell us why it's a good fit — roughly how big the community is and how much there is to document.
  4. 4
Let us know if you're willing to help seed and maintain it. This is the single biggest factor in getting a game approved quickly.

Email a game request

What happens next

  1. 1
We review the request against the fit checklist above.
  2. 2
If it's a go, an admin creates the game and sets up its asset types (the fields each kind of asset has).
  3. 3
We seed an initial set of assets — often by importing from a public community wiki — so there's something real to build on.
  4. 4
You and other early contributors flesh it out and keep it accurate. Strong early contributors are exactly who we promote to maintainer and moderator.

Coming soon, not abandoned

Games we've accepted but haven't fully populated yet show a Coming soon badge on the games page. If you see one for a game you know well, that's an open invitation to help fill it in.
